Now let’s turn our attention to CLIMATE CHANGE which is on everybodies mind these days, especially the new Minister for Energy – Miserable Ed Moribund. A man who is never happy unless he is making everyone else miserable.
Starting with banning new oil leases and making lots of oil workers in Scotland redundant. Then he wants to go on to build windmills everywhere and spoil people’s views. Finally he plans to close all remaining power stations.
Next we all have to have electric cars, which cost a fortune and don’t go far. Although he has no credible plans for a supporting infrastructure.
Then, because he is so certain it is going to get hotter soon, he enthusiastically supported scrapping Winter Fuel Payments for older people. It’s a mystery as to why he is in such a hurry to insulate all our houses against the cold, if it is going to be hotter very soon.
Ed has recruited the teenager Greta Thingamebob as a key adviser to explain why we need to put on seven layers of clothes in the winter, and six layers of sunscreen in the summer.
This is a short sighted visionary leader, who blindly expects the world to follow his lead.
Just one problem ——— they are not likely to.
Maybe we should offer Miserable Ed to China to EDucate them🤡

LLLP Here, the ‘Ragamuffin society~’ I feel someone is going around in circles, and performing at the ‘OLD Farts Concert’ pasing wind! and kicking ‘spherical objects’ about the place,
Where oh where does one get common sense? For Instance last nights 1800 ITV News we had the item on GREEN POWER and how does one feel about the ginormous plants, in this country, burning lots of recycable rubbish and plastics- poluting the air-However they are saving land fill?? Whoopie! Now then I understood, one burnt ones rubbish and generated heat, which in these industrial plants is converted in electrical energy! Great- again as an engineer reading the small print one needed heat [fuel oil/gas/electrict] to the enable the furnances in these large incinerator plants to operate, at all, never mind efficiently, concerning the total energy used?
Then we go onto the green power of this plant, and modern life, we are encouraged to use solar power, wind power, tidal power, and hydro power? Again think carefully of our modern to day life, shipping industry, does on revert to sail/wind power, then what about air transport how does one fly an aircraft that can carry persons/humans, and cargo, quickly and prcisely from point to point?
There again our mineral resouces, do we ban gas/oil/coal [carbon/hydrogen] useage, and adopt nueclear fuel, or does one sunbathe and use solar energy> But there again how does one make solar enery 24 hours available in very part of our global world.????
AS I say confused, old farts, passing wind, and chewing the cud, But then what is society asking? and what are the media broadcasting? ALL I am getting is confusion, lack of common sense and a balanced view point scientifically put, as to how we as a nation, and global population preserve our lives for our future generations? All i see is a game of football, kicking spherical objects in the air, and passing wind!!!!
Do we have a parliament??? serving all of us?
