My Trombone Years.

Tentatively stepping into a new era.

Useful youthful employment a distant memory.

Agility just a letter or two away from fragility.

Observing a whirlwind world of challenges.

Reading the writings of bewildered watchers-on.

A trombone time of loud noise, but no music.

An orchestra of opportunities, but no conductor.

Time to discover the counterpoint !

  1. dear oh! dear, blowing ones own trumpet, or horn instrument, these days one just needs a ‘puff or two’?
Maybe the music is a ‘fart or 2’ with that sweet breath of fresh smells, it is bringing back all those memories?

Are we all becoming bags of old wind? I wonder???

  2. Success, suck lemons, I remember that Horn player from years ago; Humphry Littleton as he led his Band in playing that joyous tune ”Cherry Blossom, and, Apple pink: Great to just listen too, and dance a couple of steps with a fair lady of ones choice!!!! Great!!!

  3. It is ”Cherry Pink and apple blossom white??”
IT is all in the breeze these days as time flies, and I just sit back in my chair, supposedly relaxing? can I move, yes for a motion? to answer the door, I am undecided as life takes its toll, and my physical body is becoming more achy and painny?
