Big strides were taken in the first 100 days of the new Last Laugh Looney Government. Now it’s time to move forward with the remaining pressing issues.
SOCIAL CARE. This is an issue that has been prevaricated on for years by all political parties, because nobody wants to face up to the colossal cost or to offend elderly voters by telling them the truth. The brutal reality is that most people have not saved enough for a long retirement, especially if it involves a period of supportive care. The good news is that for many home owners their property has accumulated in value significantly in their lifetime and is an asset which could cover the cost of care. The LLLP will unlock these assets by offering reverse mortgages, that enable the elderly to release money from their houses to pay for care. They will also set up a compulsory social care insurance scheme for people under retirement age. This means inherited wealth will be reduced, but on the positive side it will create many more jobs in the care industry.
INFLATION. Calculations of this are always wrong when you look back on them. All these highly paid economists with no understanding of what is going on in the street. I am surprised that they think they can calculate it to1 decimal point and that anyone puts any store by it. The average man/ woman on the street are only too well aware of the rising price of everything. The Last Laugh Looney Party will immediately introduce a price freeze on all goods and services for two years.
🤡 SIMPLES 🤡
Economy sorted🤡 in the next post we will turn to crime😎
wham bang good evening mam!!! Who Is the LLLP are they making sense? Yes I would say as a ”ragamuffin’ Prices are going up and increasing? Is life all about monies and who or whom is the richest either as an individual or as a country nation.? I ask politely!
Looking into the future for the elderly Dear John has pointerly through COCOA raise the proroblems with current old age and growing old.?
Does one have an assest or assests, such as a property/business, or just a family and strong relationships? There again as one steps quietly over the 76* age boarder, and health and mental welfare hurdles, what does one do in this world of monies.
The LLLP have triggered a few points, and as a reader I just wish tochallenge them as a ‘Ragamuffin’
A. Does one in old age while still able wish to live an independent and free lif with one partner or and on their ownsome?
B Is one tied to a property, which or of which they are free of motgage, and yet have to pay for the upkeep of the property and welfare and general rates and service charge of the property.
C Does one have social belief and not be in a mixed society township? This question has many sides to it? But then as one is thinking of ones future possibble likewise age group neighbours, is one prepred to mix and develope ones own future environment into which one would wish to dwell?
Questions
Why all this? Well modern UK has many a society for the elderly, where one could lease/rent/share-lease. and the establishment is rather based upon village living ] some 200 appartmwnt- 250 perons] than a care home [65 beds-rooms]
However the costs of power, wter/sewage/ upkeep of the facilities of the building, and mabe in the back ground emergency care and at an extra cost residential care, are shared and divided, and allocated to the type of appartment one may have> [ here 1 or 2 bedroomed,
The decion is not easy, but however one hs a choice, aand is it more acceptable with the company one many enjoy in a retirement village, with the freedoom of not having to look after the upkeepp of ones self/partner in a personally owner private house, independently situated in a community? It is a question to answer for one self?
FOOTNOTE

Here you need to talk openly to yourself, Have you still got ones ‘marbles’ is one stil resonabley mobile, and can one look after oneself on a daily basis-cooking/washing ones self-personal hygenie/washing -laundry/ housework being tidy, and last of all conversation with some one you are aquainted with or know./
All questions to be answered, and does one of the family have the monies to keep one in ones own house, or doe you hop skip and jump into a grannie annex.
Maybe care home village is the answer, with all its facilites and combined cost of total living THAT IS THE QUESTION OR QUESTIONS, WHAT DO YOU AS AN INDIVIDUAL WISH FOR??????
