Good news! Just after frightening myself reading about the link between baldness and strokes. (See “A HEALTH LADDER” in the TAG CLOUD).
The much better news is that there is a 24% lower risk of strokes among people with a higher potassium uptake. Potassium can lower blood pressure which is a key issue in causing strokes.
The even more welcome news is that bananas contain a lot of potassium. Dates and spinach are good too. I must remember to add them to my shopping list.
It is a lot better than having to force feed myself with bran. (Click on “A STROKE OF BAD LUCK” in the ARCHIVE dated 2 June 2013).
Sadly I will still have to buy a wig.
P.s. I must remember to ring Wayne Rooney and tell him.
Interesting useful information
Is it monkeys eat bananas, or is it monkies eat their nuts? Do Monkey nuts contain potassium, as I am sure the monkey is a wise old sage???
