This is a continuation of the CAFE Health survey.  ( Other posts in this series can be found either by clicking on “CAFE Project” in the Tag Cloud or by clicking on  “GrumbleSmiles Trust” in the Topics list)


This is a critically important question to the GrumbleSmiles Trust.  Our central aim is to reduce loneliness and isolation amongst older people.  In the survey group it doesn’t seem to be a major problem, although even in this active group of people, 40% do feel lonely occasionally.

    Loneliness is a difficult hurdle for some people to overcome. However, by our age, we should have had enough life experience to have learnt that life is what you make it and we only get one crack at it.
