The King McBODJ Legacy.

In an earlier post I said that KING McBODJ had a succession plan. This was because it is clearly not possible, even for a great man like Bodj, to solve all the worlds problems in one lifetime.

So KING McBODJ has declared that each of his children should follow in his footsteps and rule over different parts of the world. In a new Greco-Roman Empire. There are 23, 456 countries in the world and Bodj is doing his best to keep up.

For now he intends to start with Europe. All the little Bodj’s with Roman names will be crowned as Bodj-Prince to each member country of the European Union. There are only 27, so he has probably got enough children already for that, although he can’t quite remember.

Bodj thinks his eldest son – Augustus- should take over Austria, because that alliteration is easy to recall and Bodj seems to remember that some other leader started out that way before World War 2. Then Brutus could manage Belgium. Caligula cold be posted to Croatia. Claudius to the Czech Republic. Continuing all the way through the alphabet to Vespasian, who would have to look after Venezula, because Europe doesn’t have a country beginning with V.

Of course, we mustn’t forget the little Bodj- princesses. They will help rule over the rest of the world, which will be the more serene Greek side of the Empire. Bodj-Princess Athena will look after America, because King Bodj thinks she was a child of his flower-power days on holiday in Sanfrancisco. Athena is the goddess of war so she will enjoy playing with all those guns. Princess Carrie, who is often mistaken for King Bodj’s daughter, with her expertise in very expensive wallpaper, she will be sent to pacify China and get back Hong Kong. All the other little princesses will charm their way around the world adding countries to the Empire as they go.

Statues of KING BODJ will be erected everywhere and his life’s work will be done – for the moment. Although, there is always more work for super-heroes, so as Bodj once famously said “Hasta la vista, baby”

I do not know reading todays daily rag, what this world of ours, within my own country is becoming? I wish to climb the tree of knowledge as an old grey whistle type, grey hair, grey beard if I let it grow, but alas I am with my thoughts for the day Squirrelling my ideas away in my dray, there again when I have five minutes, from burrowing and burying my ideas and hiding them in my warren? I am grey goosed??? As one may say!! And without being rude. It is a sin to grow old! And there again protests in Paris ‘’anti Olympics’’ I may be anti-Olympian, getting out of bed in the morning struggling with the ablutions of the day, but there again it is good to be ‘ALIVE’- reading the antisocial behaviour and other political garbage in the press and media.
I come back to this site and ‘dear John’ many a letter I have written to him, and in praise, I thank him for his ideals and care he has shown the elderly, throughout his career believing in and supporting ”The Extracare Charity Commission”.
This is the time when we all need to be shown that bit of ‘EXTRACARE’ and support the ideals when ever we can, as ‘GREY HAIRED ANIMALS, in our burrow, dray, or as I may call it Home!!!! Live without fear for the future. Yours Baldy locks

  3. today I am in ‘dreamland’. Yesterday afternoon I was visiting our great granddaughter, Grace, and while I played all her games, of ‘I spy’, and reading some wonderful stories from her library and collection of books. I was engaged to read a selected story of ‘Little Miss BOOKS’ , and the various naughty titles, by Richard/Adam Hargreaves of the ;Mr Men fame, I was totally engrossed. After reading a story I was looking at my Granddaughter, and noted the ”SCALLYWAG” within in her.
I then went home to rest and read at leisure the Daily Rag, and gaze crossed eyed at the various headlines and stories they each covered of the persons in the public eye. I was very disappointed, and while they maybe term loosely ;SCALLYWAGS: I was more drawn to the personal conclusion of outright rogues and vagabonds, and certainly, not in my mind to inherent the title of a ‘Scallywag”??? Roll on the 2024 general election, and some political common sense, and honesty???
