Who knows weather climate change is real or not ? President Tramp doesn’t seem to think so. Neither do the Chinese. Both are polluting as fast as they can using all the fossil fuels they can muster.
Meanwhile our Government are headlong in pursuit of Nett Zero, whatever that is, thanks to Edless Elasticband our Climate Minister. Windmills abound, coal left underground, and oil and gas not found. Even so our little contribution to reducing carbon emissions accounts for a very small percentage of the world’s energy.
So all we can do is to set a good example and here it is :-
Turn off all your central heating, we didn’t have it in the olden days, and kit out the nation with nice and warm Onesie’s.
An inexpensive solution to global warming. If the globe is warming that is.
That can be Britains major contribution to fend off global warming. If it catches on, Edless Elasticband could bounce back as a saviour of the world.

well well well, lots of memories for this Sunday 21 Dec 2025. The blog takes me back to mum and dad, and radio ‘ the light program in the 1950’s, and mid day over lunch, and a afternoon nap?
programs life with the Lyons, family favorites but there again the shout Wakey Wakey, and billy Cotton and his band, and the solo singer- name escapes me ( alan-+)
now then looking again at the date 21 Dec a Sunday it is the end of autumn, the start of winter, plus it is the shortest day of daylight in the year, and the longest night of the year to look forward too!!. What are we doing, with the dark days, the long night s and the political world today, where we allegedly the Brits are looking forward to a green future, the rest of the world is concentrating on existing deposits of hydrocarbons, and making money for the time being, and influencing the final markets. Where do we stand as Brits practically, on our high horse with lots of moral principals, or as a practical nation influencing the world at large.
a most difficult path politically to perdue, when both our allies/ friends and opponents follow a belief in money is GOD, and we should all make that quick buck,/ pound/ dollar while we can?
never mind Christmas day is around the corner, and hopefully we can all enjoy Santa, smiles, and those small gifts we give receive from each other.
