The Last Laugh Loony Party is loosing some of its appeal. Increasingly, the other parties are stealing its clothes in an attempt to recapture its former supporters.

At one level it’s a tribute to the LLLP that their policies are gaining a grip on their rivals agenda. It’s proof that they can no longer be sidelined and ignored. But, on the other hand, their ideas will just be watered down and quietly consigned to the back burner, if one of the main parties are re-elected.

So this calls for a rejuvenated and more radical response from the LLLP.

First of all a mass rally at Euston station to protest at high rail fares …. and frequent delays…. and cancellations……and stale sandwiches….. and HS2 …..and everything else to do with trains. It will be timed to happen in the morning rush hour and arriving passengers will be given placards as they get off the trains. This will maximise the protest look on the morning TV news broadcasts.

Most of the early morning commuters won’t know what they are protesting about, but they are always grumpy and their confusion will probably lead to some localised pushing and shoving. The transport police will be forced to intervene and that will spark more trouble. Breaking news …. it will look good on the tele.

In no time at all, it will be all over social media and copy cat protests will break out at railway stations throughout London.

The LAST LAUGH LOONY PARTY will demand a statement in the House of Commons and the resignation of the Transport Minister.
