LLLP BUMPS

Sooner or later the the election party will be over.    Being showered with pre-Christmas presents will end in tears, whoever gets  into power.   Because the reality is none of them have the big ideas, the power or the consensus amongst themselves to change things for the better.    SPEND, SPEND, SPEND is the only the answer for a clueless bunch of MP’s.

It is our hard earned money they are using !   Better that we spend it ourselves to solve the problems as they affect us.     Not selfishly, but with regard to our immediate and future needs, and those of our neighbours and friends.

BUMP number 1 –  CLIMATE CHANGE.

The LLLP recommend that you – Move to high ground, reduce energy consumption as much as possible.  Wrap up warm in winter.   Tie everything down, the winds of climate change are coming.

Meanwhile the LLLP will send all MP’s during their summer recess to the seaside to sit at high tide and let us know if sea levels are rising 🤡

BUMP number 2 – GROWING NUMBERS OF OLDER PEOPLE.

The LLLP recommend that you – Accept that the NHS will not be there for you except in the case of dire emergency.   Exercise and eat well to stay healthy.   Liquidate assets to pay for future care needs and don’t assume the State will look after you, because it won’t, unless your destitute.   Downsize if you can.

Meanwhile the LLLP will send all MP’s for one week every month to do work experience in residential care homes, until they agree on a consensus solution to social care 🤡

BUMP number 3 – ESCALATING CRIME.

The LLLP recommend that you – Be alert to scams.  They are frequently aimed at older people.   The unwanted phone calls,  the stranger at your door, even the small print in too good to be true offers from “trusted” companies.   Stick to people and places you know.

Meanwhile the LLLP will require all MP’s to do home visits to everyone of their constituents who has been scammed and tell them what they are going to do about it …. and personally compensate them from their MP’s salary 🤡

THIS IS NOT THE KIND OF WORLD MOST PEOPLE WISH TO LIVE IN, BUT, IT WILL BECOME MORE AND MORE LIKE THIS UNLESS WE TAKE CONTROL OF OUR OWN LIVES RATHER THAN RELYING ON POLITICIANS TO RESOLVE OUR PROBLEMS.

SO WHY IS THIS A BLOG ABOUT BUMPS ????

BLOODY USELESS MP’S.

  1. wonderful??? my vision is slightly blurred, and confused? A question for You? Please- Is it just over or about 3 months since Boris became leader of the conservative party, and allegedly the countries PM? Then reading the Blog by LLLP Today BORIS has a ‘bump’ or a toss in a blanket’ by his school pals to celebrate each one of those 3 months!!! HHEEE HHEEE? what a way to elect a leader of vision, and BREXIT? It going to be a bumpty /bumpy road, dear reader

  2. Here we are reading the pages of the LLLP avidly, are all the leaders in this 2019 DEC ELECTION ”ALL tossers??”.
DO THEY HAVE THE bumps? IS bodj PREGNANT, with thoughts word and deeds? After all he came to power in Mid July 2019, and if he has a ‘BUMP’ and expecting that may turn out to be Mid April 2020, or if he gives us an early Birth then It could be April 1st. 2020, and we will all be ‘APRIL FOOLS” Maybe? What say you? Proving its not twins/triplets, or other surprises?
Like all ways the Last Laugh LOnnie Party is following events most closely, and one thing we do beg is ”Only Grumble if you have put your cross in the appropriate box on December 14? Polling day.” or is it the 9th. which ever it is! do your duty as a UK citizen!!!
AS for BODJ ‘s ‘bump’ I will wait to receive a piece of christening cake??

  3. Hello fellow readers{ Today at 13.30 on BBC 1 TV News I note the comments, and the fringe statements from the media of reports from the MEDIA on the subject of ;;NATO’, and the USA president Mr Trumps, leadership comments.
Once upon a time this was the cornerstone of defence for the UK and Western Europe. I do not envisage an engagement with the LLLP: However I am a concerned UK citizen, and I just wonder what all the ‘Bull and BLuster” is about -”BRITEX-” were do we as a nation, or Scotland Wales or Indeed Western Europe go from here>
I feel we are in dangerous, very dangerous waters, and with whom does this nation of mine ‘THE UK of Britain and Northern Ireland, consider as friends and allies? Who has my or our beliefs of a peaceful united Europe/Scandinavia? We need political leaders of vision, integrity and honesty.
”What does Britex mean and Stand for??? We need to think hard and honestly in this uncertain world of ours.
The LLLP may have an idea, but will it be believed???

  4. On a completely different subject, I watched on Wednesday 4th December Michael Buerk’s programme on ”Retirement” and was asking have we all made sufficient provision for retirement???
I found the programme thought provoking, and uncomfortable in two main respects?
Aspect 1/- The younger person in early working life had or were they thinking of the many pension schemes-private/work and state, and personal savings for that rainy day.
At the age of 77 the younger ideals and schemes are beyond me now. But have you the younger person made any life changing decisions for later life, to maintain health and standard of living.
Aspect 2/- here the arrows and questions struck home!
Here the questions are mainly financial provision for health and standard of living on a fixed income, of modest means.
I have been lucky, mortgage free, but still am required to pay weekly maintenance fees for heating, lighting and accommodation.
The greater unknown future costs are health related, and a means of support/assistance in the house of our choice.
Here Michael Buerk discussed health and standard living support for those persons all ready retired and approaching their 80’s. A very sobering moment. Since retiring care costs have increased at the cost of living index, and on fixed income {a private and state pension] one has to be aware of any monetary calls on ones income, and one needs a small allotment for at least one annual holiday, and that occasional ice cream. One has to prioritise within reason!
The next problem is ones spouse and their pension rights, should anything untoward happen to th greater pension earner?. I and my wife are tied to the old system pre 70’s were woman did not have the right or opportunity to accrue full pension rights, if one had an immediate family.
It was and is extremely thought provoking and with the current elections December 2019, and both the main political parties with the fringe parties offering goodies for welfare and health under government sponsorship of the NHS and social services:- I just wonder who pays us as individuals or the government, or is it the same monies?? It is a conundrum, can you solve the problem, or can we as a society?
