LLLP INVESTIGATION RETROSPECTIVE REFLEXION.

The Last Laugh Looney Party has now completed its long investigation into Government expenditure.   What a marathon !   And what lessons have been learned ?

  • Firstly, the Governments and the Civil Service don’t really want you to know how little they are achieving, nor how much they are spending doing it.
Their Annual Reports are late, full of waffle, trite and devoid of any measurable way of holding them to account.
  • £ Billions  can be saved, but only with an LLLP radical approach.
  • We need to rethink the role and structure of an overgrown state.  I sound like Dominic Cummings 🤡
  • Power is too centralised, but at the same time it is emaciated by an largely ineffective bureaucratic Civil Service.
  • Democracy is too remote. Individual  politicians need to be accountable to their constituents and their actions more directly linked to local needs.
  • The State should be a safety net for everyone, but not burden us with red tape, or wrap us in cotton wool, or to stop us ever making mistakes.      It’s attention should be on ….. SAFETY …… HEALTH …… EDUCATION.
  • And not much else

So how would the Last Laugh Looney Party set about doing it ????

We would start by learning the lessons from the Coronapop period :-

  • £ billions could be saved by taking a scythe to Government Departments.   The tong in cheek review of their Annual Accounts showed how little they achieve.  So whilst there would be howls of anguish, would we really miss all the civil servants and their posturing Ministers ?
  •  It would have to be done swiftly, so over-night Bodj would elevate all the Ministers to the peerage and made them Lords Without Portfolio.
  • The following day Bodj would abolish the House Of Lords 🤡
  • Then with the help of the LLLP in the next 24 hours Bodj would restructure his   Government and appoint new Cabinet .

THE NEXT EPISODE WILL FOLLOW SHORTLY IN  BODJ’S  NEXT BROADCAST TO THE NATION.

In the meantime there are few things for Bodj to think about in his muddled up Coronapop head:-

WHY TAX PEOPLE ONLY TO GIVE THEM BACK THRIR MONEY LATER?

WHY DISINCENTIVE PEOPLE FROM WORKING TO PAY THEIR OWN WAY.

PRISONERS SHOULD WORK TO REPAY SOCIETY FOR THEIR CRIMES

PICK FRUIT AND VEG,   RECYCLING WASTE.   LITTER PICKING.

BRING BACK CONSCRIPTION    EITHER IN THE FORCES ON IN VOLUNTARY WORK.  EVERY ONE FOR TWO YEARS.    THOSE WHO MISSED IT BEFORE SHOULD DO IT NOW    POLITICIANS SHOULD DO THREE YEARS

TAX LOWERED TO 10 %

PAY TO SEE GP.    FREE ON LINE CONSULTATIONS     AND PAY TO VISIT A&E

UNEMPLOYED REQUIRED TO WORK

  1. Just a pause for an abstract thought or 2? last week NASA announced a trip to Mars in 2035! Plus a precurser expeditions to the Earths moon. The moon trips to be completed by mixed sex crews? Here the mind wonders, and can the human body as we know it, procreate in the outer space conditions? This begs the question who goes to Mars? If I am not mistaken it is proposed as in human terms a ‘ONE waY trip’? quite a mental and psychological discussion to come to terms with?
Here while i question President Trump, and his domestic policies, I congratulate him to have the guts to fund and back an inter-space expedition for the benefit of mankind to MARS.
Can we for all our faults still be men and women of vision? Holding the dream that our god made heaven and earth, and we are not the only species in this ‘galaxy’?
I wonder does the LLLP travel or sojourn into space? But there again ”what and who’s space”???

  2. Eu lllp
You and I voters, we have voted for ‘BREXIT’. I am worried, and concerned, Ever since David Cameron’s Government, including Teresa May’s Government, and now we have Boris and his personal attitude to ‘Brexit’? a mere rabbit caught in the headlights, one day for, the next for What???. It is not the fault of the voter, the public political parties in the Westminster Parliament, could not for the benefit of the UK & NI come to a co-inherent decision. The detail that is required to make a smooth transition, to consider ‘Brexit’ or INDEED to reform the way Brussels and the EU perform as a political association of states is for me as a UK Voter TOO complex to really understand?
I just question the current British Parliament position, and wonder what is the benefits to the UK & NI Nation to be independent, yet part of the Political defence, commerce regime of a United European State Of Nations, where all Nations are of a common ideology, and pay respectfully a fair contribution to the future welfare of a European Conglomerations of Nations.
BESIDES THE POSTURING AND HARD LINE MESSAGES FROM WESTMINISTER, what is a reasonable solution, and in this free thinking world, are we as part of EUROPE to have more success as a joint partner with the USA as its 51st. State for reasons of defence/commerce/ social security? After all in 2035 the USA are off to Mars, are we the UK & NI or Europe part of this adventure??? Can we not mend our parochial garden fences, and look upwards to ideals of what a MAN/WOMAN dreams of? As a world social society??? and yet live peacefully with the rest of the world as we understand it and know it of today??
Some times conflicting thoughts make us have our most profound and uniting thoughts, and considerate deeds/actions!!! for us all to appreciate.

  3. LLLP, just wonders! What are the thoughts of the day? Question-Are the current political parties in Westminster frightened of thinking outside the box, and telling the CIVIL SERVICE and the Head of the Civil Service who may like to think of policies which are 100% socialist.
When one looks at the Cameron Government in unison with Mr Clegg of the Liberal Democrats were possibly thinking of social ideals, with a conservative ideology. This too me has appeared to back fire, and we are still sucking up to Mr Blair and Brown Policies, possibly an ideology of Mr Domonic Cummins.
WE need a few free thinkers in both the Governing Conservative policies and those of the moribund civil service? Question who is looking after who? WHOM?

  4. History
Just looking at the english history from my rose coloured specs some 77 years old.
Has life’s milestones changed from the early 20th century to day? My older family and friends/neighbours went through the hell of WWI and the loss of all those young men in the fighting forces, and the support given my the women folk. Then through the 1930’s and the worldwide depression, and finally having again having to fight again, this time men and women in WWII. Here family life was tough and as a result of possibly WWII and the friendly forces of the US Services, and the establishments in British Society of Dr Barnado’s homes, and the young offspring from unofficial liaisons in life. These were established in the 19th century, but were important in the POST WAR WWII days. Another aspect during this time was the care homes sponsored for the WWII military injured. The merchant marine service support in major ports hostels for the unmarried mariner. To think of a majority of 80+ YEAR OLDS IN THE Post world war days was not feasible due to the threat of the COLD WAR.
Today 2020 I wonder? We have lived for some 70 years Without a world conflict, and have we lost the realisation the price of ‘LIFE’, and we are all growing older, and now we in the older generation, have to give a thought, not only for the quality of our own person life? Plus that the responsibility we have placed upon our younger generation. I do not wish to be a burden, and guide the younger generation through social means {as a voter} how we can develop housing care and support for this ageing

  5. Contemplation within the LLLP
Today is Tuesday 16th. September 2020
The media are full today of BORIS and his ‘BREXIT’ alleged strategy, and more, developing from this is the ‘FURLOUGH System’ as it ends, expected too sometime in later in the month, or early October.
Data is pushed out in statistical format to us the public: whether we can absorb it all is a different manner?
From the CORVID-19 info is the restrictions of 6 only at a meeting place, and then all socially isolated in a bubble, within a socially isolated meeting place. Here the hospitality industry face the biggest clamp down, and as a society a major employer of part time and full time staff. Then we have parliament stating that the furlough system will end and the job market must be viable businesses, employing the necessary workers. This causes ME to consult the LLLP and wonder, ‘Where will the viable employment come from? And at what cost? In the light of ‘BRITEX’? The pundits are all ready trading in the statistics of the total number unemployed and making unwanted suggestions that the rate of percentage of the working population can rise. To what figure is not indicated, but the unwelcome thoughts are there.
Where is the money, in the UK Invested, manufacturing/service industries, or is it in’’ care and welfare support industries’’ – I.E. Government running costs for supporting the UK population. Who can after furlough pay the rent and have the running costs to live? Is the money and assets in the rental property for work offices and dwellings? Who or whom is the winner, who pays the taxes?. We need an enterprise, and a benefactor with a vision, either government or private with an investor to see a way out of CORVID-19!!!
It is all confusing all I can see is a pantomime in the House Of Commons, with lots of ‘JOKERS’ but no real thinkers! A sure investment is a food supermarket, and apparently a web based warehouse and selling franchise on the Internet?? Who makes the bits and pieces to sell the transport to deliver the goods, and then the media to to promote all these ideas TV/Radio/Press/WEB Operators-search engines? Question in 2021 will all these service registered companies be land based in the UK & NI or some offshore conglomerate??
Enough weeping in my gravy, I must have time to think and talk to the LLLP.
