Following on from my previous post we now have a few 16, 17 and 18 year old MPâs and will have their chance to be Prime Minister for One Day.
Here are some of the novel ideas they would like to be voted on :-
- Skool 4 One Day. Based on the fact that young people all have smart phones or tablets, there is no need to learn âtimes tablesâ and they donât learn rithmatic. Itâs all done by Siri. Nor do they have to bother with spelling. The four days a week saved in teacherâs salary will more than cover their redundancy payđ€Ą
- Mental Elf. The older MPâs could clearly see that the new young MPâs quickly got bored with long all day debates. Indeed they generally had the attention span of a gnat. So one proposal was that speeches be limited to 140 words, with no interruptions, followed by a vote. It was also decided that they must have ADHD and each would be provided with a personal Mental Elf worker to keep them focussed and stop them playing video games on their phones. Although, most of the older MPâs seem to be on their phones when they are on the back benches.
- Spanish Lifetime Holidays. We need more houses for young people and lots of older people under occupy their homes. So pensioners will be offered a ÂŁ100,000 Deportation Allowance if they agree to move to Spain. They will get free transport on redirected rubber dinghies. It wonât be compulsory, but scrapping the triple lock on pensions will be an added incentive. The resulting saving will more than pay for the Deportation Allowances.

However Todays missive picks quite correctly on the current politicial and media comments on British Society@ However I believe while the comment are on youth voting/school days/ ef [MP,s] in parliament, the younger mesmbers,?/movement to live in spain by the older uk Generation.!!!
This has put my mind in a quandary, and what are the policies of todays BRITISH PUBLIC? Voters. This high lights to me the inconsistancy of the uncontrolled immigration policies for the UK and The Invitation to all immigrants to become UK Citizens and voters?
WE apear to have lost our own beliefs and backbone of being British. and a believer in being a British Voter, for the benifit of the nations in the UK, and not uncontrolled supporters of foreign Nations, with out respect for the nation of the UK helping to deliver peace and commerece to all allied nations of our UK National beliefs? And to demonstrate how an honest living and support is provided by working for a citezen/worker within the UK Nation.
WE have lost the rights for respect, for GOD CROWN and COUNTRY in my opinion.
WE all need to talk to each other and not transmit a load of lies and misunderstandings.
The ‘SOAPS’ Emmerdale/CORRIE, what a show over the past year to me, ALL HORROR, and the bad thinGs in everyday life> No respect for courtesies or good feelings towards ones fellow man! It to me appears to be how can I get what I want out of life, in any form of behavior, and the bad behavior antisocial activities boardering on criminal activities appear to be the norm. Very upsetting to me! There are no smiles or thank yous on the programmes,
Maybe life today but these is/are a drama series, and I was hoping to smile now and again, THERE AGAIN THE END OF THE PROGRAMMES ITY STATE IF ONEHAS TO FACE THE PROBLEMS BROADCAST IN THE DRAMAS EMMERDALE/CORRIE THEY CAN CONTACT itv WEB PAGE AND SEEK THE SUPPORTING AGENCIES AND ORGANISATIONS FOR HELP AND ADVICE- gREAT gREAT?
Are we all in need of support in life? The answer I suspect is yes! Howeve I need a little enjoyment, and a mental trip out of day to day life into a world of not fantacy but a dream of what I could achieve if I was respectful and courteious to other citizens,
